Tom Barnes Fine Art (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit tombarnesfineart.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. It was last updated on November 7, 2026.
Who we are
This website belongs to artist Tom Barnes, Tom Barnes Fine Art, 85 Poplar Street, Guyton, GA 31312. Our website address is https://tombarnesfineart.com.
Information we collect
- When you contact us. This site has no contact form. If you email or call us to ask about or buy a painting, we receive your name, email address or phone number and anything you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you and complete your purchase or commission.
- When you pay. This website does not take payments and does not store card numbers. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by the card processor.
- When you browse. Like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit) for security and to keep the site running. We also use Jetpack Stats by Automattic to count visits and see which pages are popular. Jetpack Stats records pages viewed, the referring site, browser type and an approximate location from your IP address. It does not identify you by name.
- Security and spam protection. Our security tools (Jetpack, MalCare and Limit Login Attempts Reloaded) and the Akismet spam filter may process IP addresses to block attacks and spam.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses a necessary cookie to remember your privacy choices, and analytics cookies or similar technologies for Jetpack Stats. You can review and change your choices at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page, or in your browser settings. For the full list, see our cookie banner’s preference center.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share limited information only with the service providers that run this website (our web host, Automattic for Jetpack and Akismet, and our security providers), and when the law requires it.
Your privacy choices
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We don’t sell or share your information, but you can turn off analytics at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer, or the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option in our cookie banner.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, this site treats it as a request to opt out.
- Access, correction and deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us and we’ll respond within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
How long we keep information
We keep emails and purchase records as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax and accounting rules. Server logs and statistics are kept for a limited time by our providers. Your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
